I’m Rachel, the owner of Rachel Howden Photography! I started out as a wedding photographer, but after becoming a mama myself, I saw so much value in family and motherhood photography that I switched my focus. I’m a family photographer based in San Francisco Bay Area. I photograph families and newborns on film and love how shooting film helps me to slow down and focus on the little moments. I had been walking by this spot located near my house for quite some time and knew it would be the perfect place for some beautiful photos! Karen and her darling son met up with me on a sunny Saturday morning and Mr. Blue Eyes was the best subject to photograph with his mama. There’s something so special about the bond between mother and son, and I’m so glad i got to capture them while he was at this age. It’s one of my favorite ages for photos, bigger than a newborn but still young enough to have all those darling baby features. Karen was so sweet and you can tell her little guy just adores her so much!
