I’m Julie Carroll, a Minnesota photographer specializing in maternity, newborn, family, and portrait photography. My approach combines a timeless, natural style with an emphasis on authentic connection and beautiful light. I believe photographs should not only capture how a moment looked, but also how it felt, creating images that will be treasured for generations.
About the Session:
This spring maternity session was photographed in Minnesota during the peak bloom of the crabapple trees. Surrounded by soft pink blossoms and golden sunset light, the focus was to celebrate the beauty of motherhood while highlighting the anticipation and connection of this season. The flowing gown, abundant florals, and blooming landscape created a romantic, timeless setting that complemented her growing bump.
As a photographer, I am continually inspired by the beauty of nature and the way each season provides a unique backdrop for storytelling. I love incorporating florals into my sessions, as they add texture, movement, and an elevated editorial feel to the imagery. My goal is always to create photographs that feel both artistic and heartfelt—capturing not only how this season looked, but how it felt.
