About Marisa:
Above all else I am a wife and mother, after having my daughter my love for motherhood photography grew exponentially. I am a story teller and lover of emotion based imagery. I tell stories through the lens of my camera using a combination of digital and film photography. I crave authentic connection filled with passion and simplistic beauty. I believe photographs are legacy pieces passed down from generation to generation. I believe photographs are frozen slivers of time we hold in our hands, but relive in our hearts. I believe photographs deserve to be printed and provide products and prints to my clients after every session, because nothing brings me more joy than seeing memories live on.

I’ve known this beautiful mama since I was 14 years old, goodness, where does time go?! When Michele contacted me about photographing her newborn photos I was over the moon. She is kind, funny and an absolute joy to be around. Watching her navigate the early days of motherhood with her sweet husband by her side was a joy. There is something so heart warming watching your friend join these fresh waters with you, knowing how close they’ll hold these memories just a few months from now. Her sweet boy was born just two days after my own little babe, let me tell you how incredibly special it was to photograph these beautiful memories, with my sweet boy in tow, because these moments are everything and this art is my calling.
