Bio:
My name is Nicole, a California native who believes in connection, storytelling and heirlooms with a fine art approach. I shoot Portraits on film and began my career with Motherhood, Family and Newborn photography and grew my business to Luxury Weddings all over the California Coast. I love my job and capturing clients most treasured moments and memories is something I do not take for granted. I am a mother to three – from five years to eleven years and a soccer mom to boot! My husband is a First Responder and we’ve been living in our little home in the Central Valley for over 8 years!
About the Session:
This session was captured on the gorgeous California coast, in Inverness, on a secluded beach in one beautiful hidden gem of a location. These images were captured for a dear friend Lindsay and her sweet family, a wedding photographer in the Bay Area. We gathered an hour before sunset with the entire beach to ourselves, minus the few birds we had so much fun chasing! I set up a picnic for them and brought along some champagne to set a storyline for the session. Like I do for all of my clients, I offer to loan them outfits from my client wardrobe or put together a mood board of outfit ideas for them to purchase on their own; with the change in seasons we opted for cozy sweater and jeans vibe to match their laid back personalities. I gave direction, to gain trust and connection but also sat back while they created their own, truly capturing them as they were.. playing in and out of the water, laughing and loving on one another. The light was gorgeous, ending the evening on a high note!
