About:
I’m Caitlyn, a lifestyle newborn and Motherhood photographer in beautiful Charleston, SC. Four years ago I was a first time mama with a plan to document our son’s days with something other than a phone camera. Making the leap to quit my corporate job and help other mamas get in the frame has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’m so thankful my own journey into motherhood has allowed me to preserve memories for other families- to document all of those little details, the emotion and love is such a gift. When I’m not behind my camera, I’m usually exploring our gorgeous town (aka eating all of the Southern food), coffee in hand, with my husband and our two boys. My boys are a constant source of inspiration, and a reminder to slow down and appreciate the little things because these days are so fleeting- even the ones where I’m sticky, covered in dirt, or playing with super heroes for most of my day.
Session Details:
This sweet family welcomed me into their beautiful home and made this session a dream to photograph. The light was perfect and the love for their precious baby boy was so evident. They were already so natural at parenting just two weeks in to their new gig. It was so inspiring! This gorgeous mama’s parents joined us for the session, so being able to document three generations was incredibly special. They were all so genuine, loving, and an absolute joy to work with!
