Bio
Adrianne Shelton is a hybrid photographer in Central Virginia and lover of simplicity, love, joy & light. Adrianne started her photography journey as a volunteer for YoungLives in Culpeper, VA, where she offered motherhood sessions for teen mothers to remind them of the special bond between mother and child. As a wife to an Episcopal priest, she found it fitting to name her business Beatific Visions, a theological phrase that points to goodness and beauty in the world. She is mom to two girls and seeks to capture real moments between families – simple memories to treasure forever.
Session Details
Miarra is such a special girl in so many ways. She came through the YoungLives program as a young mother herself, and by the time we met, she was volunteering as a junior mentor with the group. I have done Miarra’s portraits with her oldest daughter, and we have grown together as she is now married with two more children. Miarra reached out to me about a breastfeeding session with her little one, Zara, and I couldn’t have been happier to oblige. To all you mamas out there, know that you are just as beautiful and strong as your children think you are.
