Bio:
Hi, I’m Taylor, a newborn and family photographer in Spokane, Washington, working with clients to create photos that transcend time and feel authentic. I am also a wife, dog mama, serial hobbyist, and therapist! My love for authentic lifestyle imagery stems from early childhood, viewing the archives of albums and wall prints my parents displayed in our home after losing most of our digital images when our family computer crashed. It was then that I realized the importance of printed photos, which never failed to bring me back to the happy memories of my earlier years. I never imagined becoming a photographer until college, as I searched for meaning and purpose in my work. After years of documenting engagements and weddings, I found my passion for babies and motherhood and haven’t looked back since. I have the honor of documenting some of the most treasured moments and serving moms with generational heirlooms.
About the Session:
I had the honor of documenting the heartfelt moments between Madison and Randy and their newborn baby Kaia, days before Randy was leaving for his deployment in the Navy across the country. Both mom and dad were in complete awe of their sweet babe, and were soaking in every moment together as a family of three. It was one of my all time favorite studio sessions to date, as Kaia was perfectly happy and as expressive as ever – one of her parents’ favorite things about her. Documenting Kaia giving a big smile at the sound of her mama’s voice was so sweet, and I know these photos will be treasured forever knowing that Kaia has already grown so much since our session.
