What’s in your camera bag & what’s your favorite lens?
Fujifilm X-T3, a baby rattle & as many snacks as possible. Favourite lens is y Fuji 56mm 1.2!
Who inspires you?
Mothers. Every single one of them, whatever choices that they’ve made, whatever births they have had, whatever situation they are in. There is something to be learned from every mother and I just adore getting to know them, hearing about their experiences and sharing their wisdom.
What makes your brand unique?
Along with being a photographer, I am also training to be a post-natal doula so I can fully support the mamas I meet to help them have the most positive fourth trimester possible.
What’s your favorite aspect of your business?
I mean the cuddling babies part is obviously a massive plus! But I also love being able to capture such a fleeting time in a family’s life and creating images that they will forever look back up on with love in their hearts.
What business advice would you give to someone overwhelmed with starting out?
Take it one step at a time. Shoot as much as you can, even if it’s for free. But don’t underprice yourself as otherwise it will be much more difficult to increase your prices to what you’re actually worth.
