Rya Duncklee is an international, award-winning photographer and educator based in Jacksonville, Florida. For nearly a decade she has specialized in documenting the early years with a concentration in making films for families.

The Session

I had the honor of documenting a fellow member, Ariel Rose, and her beautiful baby boy, Ryker, on the north Florida coast. Motherhood sessions have, and always will, hold a special place in my work; they’re one of my favorite types of sessions to photograph. There is something so effortless about the connection between a mother and child. And how could you not love this baby boy’s little expressions, and that walk.
