What is your favorite thing to do when you aren’t working?
My favorite things to do when I am not working are to travel with my family, hang by the pool or beach, anything active and outdoors!
Who inspires you?
My family and children inspire me. The little things they do that I want to remember, the unfiltered playfulness and creativity they exude. I find the fleeting moments I feel at home are the ones I want to document for others as well.
What makes your brand unique?
My brand is unique because it is my mission to empower women and mothers to feel confident and be seen in whatever season they are in. I encourage mothers to take an active role in preserving their family’s memories and to recognize the beauty they are bringing to their family and the world. I want the women around me to know they are not alone and that the work they are doing is important.
What is your favorite aspect of your business and what you do?
My favorite aspect of my business and what I do is the opportunity to meet other women and mothers and connect with them. I feel so honored to be a small part of their life journey. I am also extremely grateful that I have flexibility and am able to be present with my kids, help at school and attend their activities during this season of life.
What business advice would you give to someone overwhelmed and just starting out?
Run your numbers early and often. Don’t be like me! Determine your CODB before you even put a price tag on a session! What is your cost of leaving your family and how often are you willing to do that? Do this before you get busy!
