Bio:
My name is Lauren and I am currently stationed in Northern Michigan with the Coast Guard. When we moved to the area three years ago I was pregnant with my second child after struggling with recurrent early loss. I was desperate to document this fleeting time but struggled to find the right photographer. I always loved taking pictures and it just clicked that I should start my own photography business! I have always had a passion for motherhood photography because of the transformation that mothers go through during this incredibly journey.
About the Session:
This family session took place at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Glen Arbor, Michigan. Believe it or not, this session was taken around noon! We had the worst cloudy weather for a whole week, and we ended up going for it. I really felt the clouds set the mood for the session though and I was so happy with how it turned out!
