Bio:
I’m Julia, a fine-art newborn, maternity and family photographer who relocated to Manchester, UK all the way from New York, USA last year. I’m also a mama of a cheeky toddler who is the first reason of my family’s big move – so that me and my husband could be closer to both our families in the UK and Europe. The second reason is my forever dream of owning a photo studio where I could invite local families to create meaningful images together. This dream came true this year and now I’m the owner of Julia Horrocks Studio, the only family photo studio in Manchester where you can get timeless family portraits captured on film.Session Details:
This gorgeous maternity session with the glowy mother was photographed at my studio in Manchester and is one of my favourite shoots to date. We wanted something that felt editorial, with a hint of the boudoir. The whole session was captured on black and white film, that’s why the images look so timeless. They will stand the test of time.
