MEET JOLENE
I am a Bowmanville, Ontario based photographer serving the Greater Toronto Area. I focus mainly on lifestyle family and newborn sessions but love to photograph weddings as well.
About the Session:
I first met this wonderful family during a holiday mini session in 2024 and was so excited to be able to connect again to photograph their newborn daughter, Lauryn this spring. From the comfort of their home, we captured some early moments as a family of four. Lauryn wanted to be fully present for her time in front of the camera and stayed awake the majority of the session, yet did not make a single peep the entire time. Truly a photographer’s dream!

A Piece of Advice from Jolene:
If you are shooting in a client’s home on a dark day where you are not receiving enough natural light, try placing your off camera flash on a light stand at a 45 degree angle, directly beside the nearest window. Bouncing your flash off the window will mimic where the natural light would have been coming in, producing a softer and more naturally lit image.
