Bio:
I’m a motherhood and family photographer based in Virginia Beach, VA and even more than that, I’m a mama to three and married to my truest friend. Together my husband and I have created our little life in Southeastern Virginia where you can find me homeschooling, home making, and making portraits at home when I’m not with my beloved clients. I have a deep passion for vulnerable relationships and connecting with people so it feels so honorable when I can get a close up into my client’s intimate motherhood moments. Artful images are the end result, but it’s really the making of them that is my life’s work.. Session Details:This sweet couple were expecting their very first child so it was so special getting to watch them transition from “husband and wife”, to also adding the new role of “mom and dad”. They enjoy the scenery of Virginia Beach so we were sure to do an outdoor session for their maternity portraits and we were blessed with the most gorgeous light in the dead of winter. When photographing a maternity session without other children at the session, I love to have the couple talk about their journey of expanding their family & their dreams for their little babe which helps them trust me and allows them to connect with one another and stay focused on what matters while I capture them.
