Hi! I’m Renee. I’m a wife and a mama to two precious girls (6 & 3 years old) and I’ve been a photographer for 11 years now. I’ve always been drawn to shooting my clients in their homes and 90% of my work is in-home newborn photography. I’ve found that most of the time, this is when my families are most at ease. When I first started out, most of what I saw in lifestyle newborn photography was moody & dark. I felt a little out of place because my work is light and bright, and I like to pose my clients. “Naturally posed” is what I like to call it. 😉 Light and bright lifestyle newborn photography has become much more common now, so I’m thankful I continued with the style I love.Session Details:
My client wanted to document her baby girl’s 1st birthday with a special photoshoot. I did their newborn session in this nursery so I knew I wanted to shoot a few more images in here again. When I arrived, I sat down on the floor and baby girl really didn’t want much to do with me. I was okay with that because who she did want was her Mama. And that’s when the magic happened. The soft snuggles, playtime, and gentle smiles are what made this session so special…and the wallpaper. 😉 From the nursery, we went to a nearby park. Mama brought props which turned out so sweet. I’m incredibly grateful that this is what I get to do everyday. <3
