Bio:

Hi I'm Rebecca! With a family that moves every 1-2 years for my husband's career, I became very purposeful about documenting my children's lives to provide them with a sense of history and stability, as the places and people in their lives come and go so quickly. That quickly led to a passion for documenting the universal beauty and bond of motherhood as we have moved all over the world. I hope you'll see a sense of adventure in my work, as I strive to capture poetic images that are inspired by the tiniest of moments set in wild, wide-open spaces.

Session Details:

We were originally hoping for a beautiful snowy landscape in which to document this family as they wait to meet their baby boy. But, as the weather predictions turned from snow to rain, we chose to embrace elements and create something beautiful through the raindrops. We elected to spend the majority of our time together in a small, window-encased historic greenhouse. It was such a joy to photograph this loving family as they not only celebrated the little life that is to come, but honored the life they've built together and the special bond they have with their firstborn son.
