I’m Ashley, a Michigan wedding and family photographer for the last six years. I strive to create timeless images, that fuse elegance with joy. When I’m not documenting love stories and meeting incredible clients, you will likely find me crawling around the floor through a sea of legos as I build creations with my son or throwing parties with my three-year-old daughter in her barbie dream house. When the playing is over, I can likely be found on the couch curled up in a cozy blanket while I scroll Pinterest for new throw pillows for the millionth time, or walking up and down Main Street looking for the best taco restaurant with my hubby.Session Details:
I have been documenting this family since their son was born, and it is families like this who make me love my job. They are just as kind as they are beautiful. There is something magical about watching a family evolve from pregnancy through the first year, and seeing a baby turn into a spunky little person with their own personality in such a short time. We set this session up for the end of August, to celebrate baby turning ONE!! In Michigan, you never know what you’re going to get with the weather – so a beach session was sort of “risky”, but in the end, we were blessed with the most beautiful, warm, and sunny day – and the session turned out perfect!
