Hi friends, I’m Annie! I’m a Minneapolis-based maternity, newborn, and family photographer. I’ve been practicing my art since I was in middle school, delving in everything from senior photos, weddings, and now family photography. Through all of my years, my heart always returns to raw, timeless, lifestyle photos showing human connection.
About the Session:
This mama signed up for a mini session for her sweet family. With any inquiry, I always ask for parents to tell me a bit about their family unit and things that interest their children. She told me about both of her children’s likes and dislikes, but also mentioned she wasn’t sure how they would do in front of the camera. On the day of the session, both children were a little shy but certainly warmed up as they played with mama and dad! While there’s a time and place for more traditional posing, some of my best sessions are when families are simply chatting and laughing with each other.
Gear: This session was shot with a Canon R6 and a Canon EF 50mm 1.2 lens.
