I’m Sarah, a natural light photographer based in the beautiful Sutherland Shire, Sydney Australia. I specialize in child & family portraiture, and am especially drawn to documenting the beauty of motherhood.
While childhood is fleeting and motherhood can feel like a blur as you get through each busy day, the humble photograph holds within it such power to evoke all those cherished memories; the first smiles, the touch of a hand, the joy and immense emotions, and all the little details that may otherwise be long forgotten.

My photography is influenced by my childhood on the west coast of Canada, my life in Australia with my little family of four, my love of the ocean and nature.
There is something so special in photographing pregnancy; the quiet anticipation of this new little life you have met, yet are utterly in love with.
This Melbourne couple are avid travelers and have been all over the world. They love the outdoors and wanted to include their puppy, so we chose this beach location at sunset whilst they were in Sydney recently. It was also the same beach where I photographed her sister’s maternity session the year before. She fell in love with this flowing floral dress when she came to select her outfits in my studio, and it was just perfect.
