August is a great time for photographers to begin booking Santa sessions. But, how do you make sure your sessions are effective, efficient, and profitable? In the most recent episode of The Motherhood Anthology Podcast, Kim Box and Allison Craig sit down with Jillane Tucker of Shuman Fine Art Photography to share tried and tested tips and tactics to making these sessions a great asset to your motherhood photography business. Jillane has been shooting Santa sessions for over 10 years, and she knows a thing or two about making them successful.

As a little teaser of what you can expect in this episode… Kim, Allison, and Jillane share 5 actionable steps you can take to make sure your Santa sessions flow as smoothly as possible:

  1. Get on the child's eye level.
  2. Have Santa greet each child by name.
  3. Keep your sessions brief.
  4. Have toys and books present that Santa can use to engage the child.
  5. Ask the parents prior to the session for quick descriptions of the child’s personality.

For these tips and so many more, tune in to today’s new episode and make this year’s Santa sessions your most successful yet!
