MEET JORDAN
My name is Jordan & I’m a mother of two, wife, speech-language pathologist and photographer serving the Buffalo and Rochester, NY regions. I spend most of my time photographing families, newborns, maternity sessions and senior portraits.
About the Session:
This was a maternity session for my dear friends. We wanted to highlight multiple facets of Jennie’s personal style. We started the session in the beautiful pink dragonfly nursery they worked so hard on, capturing all the details and letting them soak in all the moments of just them two before their little one would be in the very crib they just built. We ended our session walking and dancing in the fields with an outfit in her favorite color, black, which suits her so well.
All digitals were edited with a combination of Refined KT Merry & Goodlight Erich McVey profiles. Film images were shot on the nikon n80 with kodak gold 200, overexposing about a stop.

A Piece of Advice from Jordan:
Being in tune with your clients’ emotions is key during a session. Some sessions call for a quick, fast, playful approach and others call for slowing down and taking more time between shots.
