Bio:
Hi there, I'm Spencer! I live in a quiet corner of Atlanta, Georgia with my husband, Bobby, and our two daughters, Hudson and Hayes. Most days you can find me hanging out with my girls, counting down the hours until their dad comes home. In 2019, I wanted to learn how to take better photos of my daughters so that I could document the beautiful, (yet exhausting!) season of life we are in. I started shooting on manual with my little Canon Rebel, and took ALL of the online photography courses I could get my hands on. A few months later, I turned my hobby into a business, and quickly fell in love. Flash forward two years later, and I've photographed over 250 families (I still can't believe it!) and opened a studio here in Atlanta.
Session Details:
New York City natives, Lizzie and Bobby, decided to move to Atlanta to start a family. Since I could tell they were up for adventures, I suggested Arabia Mountain as the backdrop for their maternity session. On the day of their session, it was an uncharacteristically hot day (90+ degrees), but we decided against rescheduling and instead made sure to chase shade, take breaks for water, and hope for a breeze! Less than a week after our shoot, Lizzie text me to let me know their precious baby girl was born 6 weeks early, and how glad she was that we didn't reschedule. Mom, Dad and baby are doing well and are happy to spend an extra 6 weeks together. Hair and Makeup: Beauty Babes ATL | Mama's Dress: Show Me Your Mumu
