What is in your camera bag?
I have a z6ii, 24-70mm f/4, 35mm f/1.8, 50mm macro & 50mm f/1.8, and 85mm f/1.8. The 85 is definitely my favorite!
What is your favorite thing to do when you aren’t working?
I love going on breakfast dates with my husband & our 5-year-old son, especially when we explore new restaurants.
Who inspires you?
I’m really inspired by Sara Dann right now. She is a business coach and, even though I’ve never been her client, she has helped me so much with my confidence. As a constant people pleaser, it’s been difficult to show up online for my audience because I have a fear in the back of my mind that someone, somewhere won’t like me. Sara has broken that mindset and i’ts been so freeing!
What makes your brand unique?
My clients can choose how they want their final images edited. At the end of the day, I produce images for them to market their business and not my artwork. It was hard to wrap my mind around at first, but I have had several clients say this is one of the reasons they chose to hire me!
What is your favorite aspect of your business and what you do?
I love finding creative ways to help my client stand out in their niche. Then, getting to see them use the images and grow their business gives me the biggest smile!
What business advice would you give to someone overwhelmed and just starting out?
Use your social media as a way to build know, like, and trust with your audience. Change your profile photo to one of you looking and smiling at the camera, add your location to your name/bio on IG and the hero area of your website, post things that add value to your audience (ex: top 5 things they need in their nursery), and share about YOU!
