Bio:
Hi! I’m Kelly, a hybrid film and digital motherhood photographer that lives in Raleigh, NC. I am a mom to three little ones, three year old identical twin boys and a one year old girl, in addition to being a full time Nurse Anesthetist. So I know chaos well!! I started my photography business 4 years ago by being so drawn to family, newborn and maternity photography. Since having children of my own, my passion to preserve the beauty interlaced between the chaos has only grown. It’s no wonder I am so drawn to the playfulness and unpredictability of photographing toddlers so much! I absolutely love photographing families in the comfort of their own home to draw out and preserve authentic moments that they live daily, which is why I primarily photograph in-home family and newborn sessions. However, I also love a playful outdoor session or a dreamy maternity session!
About the Session:
This beautiful mama of three, twins and a little girl, desired an in-home motherhood session to celebrate the time she has spent with all three of her littles at home before her twins started Kindergarten. In preparation for her session, she shared with me all their favorite things that they do together and what she loves most about this season of motherhood. I understand all too well how fleeting time can be, so it was important to me to preserve this time for her by photographing her favorite moments with her children. So that’s exactly what we did!! This beautiful motherhood session was full of dancing, cuddles and tickles and ended in the kitchen while they baked together like they do every other day. It was such a magical session. As an in-home motherhood photographer, it is truly such a gift to preserve this time for her to see the beauty of motherhood for what it is right now in the midst of the chaos as well as for her to enjoy decades from now.
