I’m a family and newborn photographer based in Asheville, NC. I think raising kids is a challenging, beautiful, and eternally rewarding task. It can get monotonous. It can make you cry. It can be sweet as all get out. I love creating simple, timeless images that help parents celebrate the little years and be grateful for the sweet and that help kids remember they belong.

This session is so special to me because its the first in my brand new and first ever studio. Its very tiny and has beautiful light and everything I need. I adored being able to spoil these new parents and give them a chance to put their feet up and just adore their newborn son. Its so sweet to listen to the pride in their voices talking about him and noticing all the different little expressions he makes and tenderly work together to change his diaper. It brought me back to the first couple weeks with my own daughter when everything was new and scary and wonderful.
