“As the golden sun sank below the tree line and a gentle breeze blew through the field, Teresa closed her eyes and smiled. She was happy, peaceful and full of life. She’d never had the opportunity to capture her first pregnancy the way she would have liked and this was important to her, having this moment captured. They sat as a family on a blanket and as if drawn to her, a butterfly landed gently on Teresa’s foot. She gently lifted it to show her daughter Murron and the moment was magical. Teresa and Murron have a wonderful relationship, very close and intimate and that was clear from the beginning, as Teresa allowed Murron to be free and be herself. There were no preconceived notions of just how this should go, or how she would look, there was simply them- together. And that was enough.
It’s moments like these that I strive to capture with my clients. Motherhood is beautiful. It should be celebrated and remembered, photographed and printed!”
