About the Session:

Hi, my name is Adrianne Shelton of Beatific Visions Photography, and I'm so excited to share this beautiful mama's maternity session with you. Erica is a beautiful soul with an artist's heart, and I'm so lucky to know her. We met when I did her maternity session back in 2020 when she was pregnant with her first son, and we've been creating art together ever since.

I moved from Culpeper, VA to Richmond, VA a couple years ago, so when she reached out about maternity photos again, I knew I wanted to make it happen. This was the first session that I traveled back to Culpeper for, and I am so glad we were able to make it work. We met on a friend's private property (I wish I could shoot there EVERY DAY), showcasing fields of beautiful foliage and a waterfront dock.

Erica's oldest son was so much fun to see, exploring the fields with his dad while we took some time to focus on Erica and her growing belly. She had the idea to wear one of my dresses without the slip to silhouette her pregnant belly, and it turned out to be even more beautiful than I imagined. When artists unite, magic happens, and I believe that wholeheartedly. For me, days like this are what dreams are made of.
